Violet-rated constable was a rank, similar to ultraviolet-rated constable, that denoted a high-level leader within the Sullustan Constable Brigade. This brigade served as the law enforcement division for the SoroSuub Corporation, the governing body of the Outer Rim Territories planet Sullust. Both violet-ranked constable and other ranks in the brigade took their names from different colors of light.
The Strongholds of Resistance sourcebook, released in 2015 for the Star Wars Roleplaying game, included the violet-rated constable rank. This book was produced by Fantasy Flight Games as part of their Star Wars: Age of Rebellion roleplaying game series.
