The commanding officer of Virile Squadron, a TIE/LN starfighter squadron belonging to the Thyferran Home Defense Corps, was known as Virile Lead. In the Battle of Thyferra, Virile Squadron engaged Rogue Squadron, suffering the loss of ten fighters during their initial attack run.
