What the Publisher Says

Timothy Zahn, the Hugo Award-winning author, brings his expansive two-part series, The Hand of Thrawn, to a thrilling conclusion. A discovery is made that shakes the New Republic to its core and carries the threat of reviving the Empire.

The Empire's grand scheme is in motion. The New Republic teeters on the brink of internal conflict, fueled by the circulating rumor of the legendary Admiral Thrawn's resurrection, which galvanizes the Imperial forces. Now, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia, along with their comrades, are confronted with the ultimate challenge. Their mission involves infiltrating a concealed stronghold teeming with Imperial loyalists, connecting with a devious Imperial commander, and venturing into enemy territory to uncover the identities of those behind an act of unimaginable genocide. Above all, the truth about Thrawn is paramount. The fate of the New Republic hangs in the balance, depending on whether he is alive or dead.

On September 17 of 2013, Random House Audio released an unabridged version of the audiobook. Marc Thompson was the narrator for this version.
