Star Wars: The Hand of Thrawn Duology

Star Wars: The Hand of Thrawn Duology is a series of Legends novels penned by the author Timothy Zahn. This duology includes the novels Specter of the Past and Vision of the Future, both released by Bantam Spectra during 1997 and 1998, respectively.

Taking place in 19 ABY, these two novels delve into the climax of the Galactic Civil War. While some elements within the Imperial Remnant, under the command of Admiral Gilad Pellaeon, seek to establish peace with the New Republic, another faction, led by Moff [Vilim Disra] and the seemingly resurrected Grand Admiral Thrawn, aims to disrupt the New Republic. Their method involves revealing the Caamas Document, which contains evidence implicating the Bothans in assisting Emperor Palpatine in nearly eradicating the Caamasi species. Simultaneously, Mara Jade and Luke Skywalker are investigating a mysterious stronghold located at the edge of the galaxy.
