Vorn Daasraad, a Gamorrean operative, held the position of Overseer within the ranks of the GenoHaradan during the tumultuous era of the Jedi Civil War. He was never seen without his reliable assault droid, and together they were a formidable force. Daasraad was known for sharpening his bounty hunting abilities through solo confrontations with non-sentient beings, including formidable krayt dragons.
Despite the GenoHaradan's stringent policy of anonymity among its Overseers, Hulas, another Overseer, uncovered Daasraad's identity. Consequently, Hulas attempted to recruit Revan for an assassination, falsely portraying Daasraad as a rogue bounty hunter who inflicted cruel torture on his victims and posed a significant threat to the political landscape.
This character's appearance is contingent on the player choosing the dark side path, which involves eliminating him. In such a scenario, Revan and the crew of the Ebon Hawk located Daasraad's droid and speeder within Sand People territory on Tatooine. They neutralized the droid and rigged the swoop bike with a frag mine. Fortunately for Vorn, he managed to fix his droid and discovered the explosive device before it detonated. Although Vorn was clever enough to avoid being killed by the bomb, he only delayed his inevitable demise, as Revan ultimately destroyed the droid and killed him. Alternatively, Revan could reprogram Vorn's droid to turn against its master, leading to a confrontation with Vorn upon his return from a hunt.
The player is presented with the option to offer Vorn a chance to surrender and be taken alive, an offer that Vorn rejects. Regardless of this choice, the player is awarded Dark Side points upon Vorn's defeat.
