Vorpa'ya, covered in grass plains, evolved into a center for numerous nerf farms. Over time, the land deteriorated due to overgrazing by the livestock of the nerf owners. By 25 ABY, the act of landing a starship on Vorpa'ya's plains would generate significant clouds of coarse dust. During that year, Jedi Knight Kubariet engaged in an intelligence exchange with Mand'alor Boba Fett on Vorpa'ya, concerning the war against the extra-galactic Yuuzhan Vong.
The e-novella Boba Fett: A Practical Man, penned by Karen Traviss and released in 2006, marked the initial appearance of Vorpa'ya.
