Avian scavengers, known as vultures, existed as a type of bird. Specifically, strike-vultures were a vulture variant native to Rattatak. On one occasion, Temmin Wexley likened a pair of Y-wing starfighters circling a Galactic Empire's Imperial Walker to vultures.
