Wamtra was a Rodian Jedi of the male variety. Throughout the Clone Wars, he served as a Commander in the Grand Army of the Republic, fighting for both the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic.
Upon discovery of his connection to the Force, Wamtra was dispatched to the Jedi Temple located on Coruscant. There, he embarked on a multi-year training program within the Temple's learning halls. Jedi Master Nemen Ull recognized Wamtra's potential and quickly chose the Rodian as his Padawan.
With the commencement of the Clone Wars, Wamtra was appointed to the rank of Jedi Commander within the Grand Army of the Republic, accompanying his mentor on numerous battlefields. Several months into the intergalactic conflict, they were deployed to the planet of Argul, where they took part in the Battle of Argul. Wamtra, alongside his master, spearheaded the defense of the docking towers at the capital city's spaceport, fiercely repelling the attacks of the Separatist Droid Army. During the heat of battle, Master Ull ventured off to locate a missing child while evacuating an apartment building. While he was within the structure, Armored Assault Tanks bombarded the building, resulting in Ull's death. Sensing his master's passing through the Force, Wamtra's focus faltered, compelling him to retreat into the ranks of the clone troopers. Following the Republic's triumph, Wamtra contemplated leaving the Jedi Order, as he continued to be haunted by the memory of his master's demise.
Wamtra's sole appearance was in Only the Force, a scenario designed for the Star Wars Roleplaying Game. In this scenario, the player controlling Wamtra has the option to select Wamtra's gender. However, the character is identified as male in the biographies of the other playable characters, suggesting that his canonical gender is male.
