A Warden Squadron K-wing Warden Squadron was a starfighter squadron comprised of Y-wing craft. It formed one-third of Defender Wing, which was under the leadership of General Horton Salm. Guardian Squadron and Champion Squadron were the other two squadrons.
Warden Squadron played a role in a successful raid against the Imperial Navy headquarters in the Rachuk Sector on Vladet. With targeting information supplied by Corran Horn of Rogue Squadron, they destroyed the Lancer-class frigate known as the Ravager. Later, the squadron was involved in the capture of Yag-prime during the Krytos virus outbreak.
Sometime during the Galactic Civil War, Guardian Squadron replaced their Y-wings with upgraded BTL-S8 K-wing assault starfighters.
