Within the Wasteland's boundaries, at least one group of pirates had established a presence. Following an assault by a pair of Alpha-3 Nimbus-class V-wing starfighters, Dass Jennir and Ember Chankeli experienced a crash landing in the Wasteland while aboard Dezono Qua's starship.
