Located in the Gallo Mountains, it became a key point of conflict between the Galactic Empire and the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the Galactic Civil War. Following the Battle of Restuss, the facility experienced ongoing battles between the two warring sides.
This Weapons Development Facility appeared in Star Wars Galaxies, the massively multiplayer online roleplaying game from 2003, before the game's shutdown on December 15, 2011. Its introduction to the game occurred with the "Chapter 2: The Talus Incident" update, released on August 1, 2006. It was one of three primary bases that players could seize for their respective factions, alongside the Corellian Tactical Training Facility and the Talus Weapons Depot.
