Officer Weirs, serving within the ranks of the Republican Army, played a supporting role in commanding soldiers during the Battle of Mandalore, a conflict that occurred in the era leading up to the Clone Wars. As he strolled along the avenues of Mandalore in the company of Jedi Voli Quana, they engaged in a dialogue concerning her utilization of the Force to transmit his directives prior to their official issuance; however, their party was suddenly attacked, resulting in a fatal gunshot wound to Weirs's chest, causing his lifeless form to fall into a nearby alleyway.
