The dwelling known as Willer Clines' House stood in Tazan City on the planet of Tazan, situated a distance of half a kilometer from the local Tazan starport. This building served as the abode for Willer Clines, a known Rebel sympathizer, along with his two daughters, named Flaenella and Jastina. Following the tragic destruction of Alderaan, a mission undertaken by the Rebel Alliance to this specific planet led to a violent firefight occurring at the house, involving Imperial stormtroopers.
This residence could be found on a corner lot within the Desander Section, which was considered a respectable, albeit low-income, part of Tazan City. Its location was approximately half a kilometer's distance from the Tazan starport. The structure itself was two stories high, built from stone, and featured wooden doors and window shutters. The ground floor contained a lounge area that directly faced the street. This lounge was compact and tidy, with its walls painted a vibrant lime green hue. The walls were decorated with local artwork and a flat-holo image showcasing Willer Clines' daughters, Flaenella and Jastina. A standard comm terminal represented the room's only piece of modern technology. A woven curtain served as a divider between the lounge and the kitchen. In addition to these, the ground floor housed two more rooms and two refreshers. An alcove within the lounge contained a staircase that led to the upper level.
The exterior of the house boasted a well-kept garden, filled with numerous flowerbeds containing local plant species. A barbeque pit was integrated into the corner of the wall, and a small outbuilding provided storage for Clines' landspeeder.
Willer Clines, a Human male experiencing hair loss, and his two daughters were the owners of this house. Clines held sympathetic views towards the Rebel cause, a fact that came to the attention of the Imperial forces stationed on the planet. The Imperials resorted to kidnapping his daughter, Jastina, in an attempt to exert control over Clines. Suspecting that he maintained regular contact with the Rebellion, they initiated surveillance on his house. Following the destruction of Alderaan, a group of Rebel operatives arrived on the planet and sought refuge at the house, hoping Clines could facilitate transport and provide directions to their intended destination. Clines hosted them in the lounge, unaware that eight stormtroopers were eavesdropping on their conversation from a back room, while two more guarded the exterior. When the Imperials believed the Rebels had divulged sufficient information about their mission, six stormtroopers stormed into the lounge, leaving two outside. The external troopers repositioned themselves to the front of the house to prevent any escape attempts. The stormtroopers were forced to enter the lounge one at a time, which quickly led to a firefight with the Rebels.
The Rebels successfully evaded the Imperials and were greeted outside by Flaenella Clines, who swiftly arranged transportation to remove them from the house and take them to the nearby Imperial Data Processing Facility, the location where her sister was being held. There, the Rebels planned to rescue Jastina and continue their mission of infiltrating the facility, acquiring new communications protocols for the TIE/LN starfighter, and ultimately destroying the entire installation.
The character of Willer Clines and his house are featured in Ultimate Core Dump, a roleplaying adventure penned by Megan Robertson for the RPGA, an organization affiliated with Wizards of the Coast. The house forms the setting for the adventure's third encounter, with the outcome intentionally left ambiguous, although several possibilities are suggested. The first scenario, described earlier, involves the players escaping and encountering Flaenella, who assists their escape either using the landspeeder from the outbuilding or by acquiring swoops from a neighbor. The second possibility is that the players manage to defeat all the stormtroopers, although this is considered unlikely, and subsequently meet with Willer and Flaenella at their convenience. The third option involves the capture and arrest of some or all of the players. However, this does not conclude the adventure, as they retain the opportunity to escape from an Imperial cell and resume their mission.
