A kinship group existed in the time of the Galactic Civil War. This family included Rebel Alliance officer Wolff Kalos, his sister Mirrian, and their mother and father. In the aftermath of the Battle of Yavin, an operative working for the Galactic Empire menaced the family, attempting to coerce Wolff Kalos into divulging classified information concerning a wanted smuggler known as Cal Handro.
The family of Wolff Kalos was referenced in the 2003 Star Wars Galaxies video game, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game that was developed by Sony Online Entertainment, published by LucasArts, and later shut down on December 15, 2011. The mention of Wolff Kalos's family happened during the fourth part of the "Secrets of the Syren" questline, which was added to the game with "Publish 21" on August 4, 2005. The "Secrets of the Syren" story arc was then removed from the game when "Chapter 1" was published on June 8, 2006, as a result of the major changes planned for Rori due to the introduction of the Battle of Restuss.
