CA review meeting 1
CA review meeting 2
Upcoming meeting
It has been nearly half a year since the previous meeting. During that time, some articles have remained under probation review. It is my opinion that a new meeting should be arranged. Hanzo Hasashi (talk) 02:51, July 22, 2016 (UTC)
Item for the next meeting's agenda
Attatag Gosem is currently a CA with a word count exceeding 250. During the initial EC meeting in 2013, this matter was brought up, and Menkooro indicated his intention to nominate it for GA status at some point. However, this nomination never materialized, and he has since expressed a lack of interest in the subject of the article. Despite this, it continues to be listed as a CA, despite exceeding the maximum word limit. It is essential that this be discussed at the next meeting, with the expected resolution being either the removal of its CA status or its promotion to GA status. - I was under the impression that simply going over the word limit wasn't sufficient cause for concern. Corellian Premier May the Force be with you 02:12, April 5, 2017 (UTC) My understanding was that, for both CAs and GAs, exceeding the word limit would disqualify them from maintaining that status. I could be mistaken, but I believed it to be analogous to redlinks, where quality articles undergo review, including some FAs currently flagged for review solely due to redlinks. Allowing a CA to exceed 250+ words after achieving its initial status and remaining untouched would convey the wrong message, suggesting that such deviations are acceptable. Hanzo Hasashi (talk) 02:52, April 5, 2017 (UTC) After reviewing the discussions from the second EC meeting, it appears you are correct in that these articles aren't investigated for that reason. Therefore, I am not aware of any actual problems for Attatag in that case. Hanzo Hasashi (talk) 03:14, April 5, 2017 (UTC)
