Instead of simply undoing the changes I made, it might be better to examine the two source citations that are mentioned within the Chad Hilse article and then make the necessary corrections to the incorrect one. Your reversion has introduced an error onto the page. -- Sulfur (talk) 21:56, 2 March 2022 (UTC)
- I apologize for my mistake. I have corrected the issue. Hanzo Hasashi ( talk ) 01:44, 3 March 2022 (UTC)
Thanks for fixing it; no problem at all! -- Sulfur (talk) 12:59, 4 March 2022 (UTC)
Hello there! I'm planning to create a template for the SWG timeline to make things clearer. Right now, setting the game between 0 and 3 ABY doesn't make sense if you've actually played it. The game and related materials (books, TGC) take place in 1 ABY, including this battle. For now, I'm using The Ruins of Dantooine (which is clearly set in 1 ABY) as a reference, but I'll update it later. There's still a lot of work to do; I think less than half of the game's content is on Wookieepedia, and I'm trying to improve that. The developers have stated that the Battle of Hoth in 3 ABY is not part of the game's main timeline. I hope my explanation is clear. You can leave the Battle of Talus as it is for now, and I'll update all SWG-related articles together as soon as I can. Thanks, Hk 47 (talk) 14:42, 31 March 2022 (UTC)
It turns out that there is indeed a picture of Allen Neff in Behind the Magic, walking behind Lando! It was located within a Lando image collection. I'll upload the image and incorporate it into the article shortly. --JMM (talk) 13:56, 25 April 2022 (UTC)
- Awesome! Thanks for the update. I have removed the "imo" tag I had previously added, since it includes the full movie scripts. Hanzo Hasashi ( talk ) 14:11, 25 April 2022 (UTC) Oh, I made a mistake. I should put the tag back... The image I discovered features Fantes Mer'darro! I got them mixed up. --JMM (talk) 14:29, 25 April 2022 (UTC) No problem, appreciate the heads up! I also confused them, haha. I wasn't referring to Behind the Magic, just looking at clips or images on my own. Hanzo Hasashi (talk) 14:37, 25 April 2022 (UTC)
I wanted to suggest that the sticker cards for Return of the Jedi shouldn't have their own separate page. They were essentially a "subset" of the primary trading card series and were included in the same packs. To cite individual cards, something like "Sticker #33 - Biker Scout" would be a better and more organized approach. What are your thoughts on this? I was considering redirecting that page, but I wanted to consult with its creator first. --JMM (talk) 14:22, 5 October 2022 (UTC)
- Yes, feel free to redirect the page. It seems you've done more research on the subject matter, so if your research indicates that a redirect is appropriate, then it's definitely a good idea. Thanks! Hanzo Hasashi ( talk ) 14:47, 5 October 2022 (UTC) I'll get right on it! These vintage card sets are something I'm quite interested in. --JMM (talk) 15:13, 5 October 2022 (UTC)
I have taken out the "Flying creatures" category from that specific page because I moved the birds category into "Flying creatures" (since most birds have the ability to fly, of course). I created the "Flightless birds" category today to classify the known exceptions. The category structure is as follows: Flying creatures > Birds > Flightless birds. Therefore, including Ak in Category:Flying creatures is now repetitive. SilverSunbird (talk) 06:20, 17 October 2022 (UTC)

Are you familiar with this subject? I just posted on the Talk page for clone ARC Commander Cards, inquiring about his rank as a general. Am I correct in remembering that he held the rank of general? I thought there was another clone who was also a general, but perhaps I'm confusing him with Cards. If he was a general, do you know why his rank was changed to commander? I've shared my thoughts on his Talk page. Red Heathen (talk) 20:10, 18 May 2023 (UTC)
- I neglected to include the reference link for Cards' previous Wook page listing him as a general, which can be found here . Red Heathen ( talk ) 20:32, 18 May 2023 (UTC) What source mentions clone generals? As for using the previous version of his article here, there's no guarantee that a Wookieepedia article is accurate, as it's a fan-edited site. In both real life and Star Wars, references to commanders don't always indicate rank; they can simply describe commissioned officers who oversee subordinates. There have been instances of this in both real life and Star Wars for militaries or militaristic groups that have the rank of commander, as well as those that don't (for example, naval officers with the rank of commander being referred to as commanders, while lieutenants may also be referred to as such in their capacity as leaders of subordinates). Regarding that tangent about commanders as ranks versus non-ranks, I'm not familiar with that game, nor the specific details of the rank and file for clone troopers, so I can't say for sure if Cards held the rank of commander or something else. I've asked on Discord, so hopefully someone else can provide some insight. :) Hanzo Hasashi (talk) 20:50, 18 May 2023 (UTC) I'm also posting here, following Vergence Scatter's help on Discord, that The Essential Guide to Warfare confirms the Clone Marshal Commander rank is the highest clone rank. I've personally checked it myself and am now puzzled by the black markings on the armor, which don't align with the source material mentioning blue, red, or yellow for officers. Hanzo Hasashi (talk) 21:12, 18 May 2023 (UTC) Thanks for asking on Discord; I'll also inquire on the CWA wiki. They still list Cards as a general. You make a valid point about Wook being user-edited, and I'd be willing to accept that as the answer, but I'm fairly certain I read something about a clone general years ago, which could easily have been about Cards. There's also the fact that, regardless of published material, SW licensing is notorious for not keeping up with established lore—not just errors, but sometimes losing track of it entirely. A good example regarding clones that highlights this issue is when TCW was first released...for at least a year...Cartoon Network had a blurb about Captain Rex explaining why he was a captain and not a commander when other Jedi generals had commanders as their second in command. It stated that Rex had been a commander but had been demoted to captain for some reason and then explained how Rex was similar to Anakin and spoke his mind, or something similar—I think it mentioned him mouthing off. I can't recall the exact reason, but there's no longer any record of this anywhere. My point is that there's a decent amount of SW history that hasn't been recorded, and there's no way to recover some of it if it only existed on a website page that wasn't archived. Some flash content is now lost even if it was archived, such as CWA. Even if there are books that state one thing, there's usually another source that says something different. An example is the number of clone commandos in a squad. We can say that the GGAR establishes this amount as four, but there's been at least one exception: Gamma Squad. "Closed Circuits" was published a year and a half after Hard Contact and about a year after GGAR, but I don't know how it was treated upon release or after the publication of the rest of the Republic Commando novels. I'm sure it came to be considered noncanon. I wish Wookieepedia hadn't deleted continuity/canonicity issues for articles after the introduction of Legends, but I'm just a trivia enthusiast and miss little details like that. I've rambled on for too long! Sorry! I'll post on the CWA wiki later tonight and see if anyone can provide a definite yes or no about General/Commander Cards. =) I hope to hear from you if you receive a definite yes or no on Discord. Where in https://web.archive.org/web/20160406045459/http://www.reocities.com/CollegePark/plaza/9433/anagrams.html does it mention anything about Chergotis? I only see a Stacy Mollema listed. SkiffGuardCaptain (talk) 04:46, 13 July 2023 (UTC)
- Hello, it appears to be her maiden name. A quick search reveals her Instagram account with both names. Hanzo Hasashi ( talk ) 06:09, 13 July 2023 (UTC)
Hi, I'm Chuck Kallenbach, a former playtester and designer of Star Wars CCG cards for Decipher, Inc. I can confirm that I designed and named the card "Chall Bekan" as an anagram of my last name. You might be confused because the article mentions the card being "named for a playtester," but it was actually the designer of the card naming it after himself. I hope this helps.
- Hi Chuck, thanks for the information! It's always fantastic when those who've contributed to the lore engage with the Wookieepedia community. Confirming the Chall Bekan tuckerization, along with other insights into the CCG lore and names, is incredibly valuable! Hanzo Hasashi ( talk ) 06:01, 9 April 2024 (UTC)
Hello Hanzo, it's Dat1899 here. I'm sending this message to let you know that I'm doing well and to see how you're getting on. It's been a year. I apologize if I caused you any concern. I've made significant positive changes in my life, and much has evolved. My interest in Star Wars, while still present, has decreased, and I've been focusing heavily on high school. That's all for now. Again, I'm sorry for leaving without notifying you. I don't plan on returning to Wookieepedia as there's not much left for me to do. I might make an occasional edit, but that's highly unlikely. Take care. Dat1899/Ricky--109.175.99.24 08:58, 21 June 2024 (UTC)
- Hi Dat, it's great to hear from you! I still appreciate your attention to detail with individual ships and your research into actors, including identifying the specific film shots used for the TCG TIE images. I hope you'll reach out again on Discord or via the email address I had for you, if it's still active. Hanzo Hasashi ( talk ) 16:38, 21 June 2024 (UTC)
It's known that in the film, only three starfighters (Solo's Millennium Falcon, Wedge's X-wing, and an unidentified Y-wing) managed to penetrate the Death Star II's core. Given that she survived the entire battle, would it be appropriate to identify her as the pilot known as 'Gold Wing'?
⛧ a mulligan ⛧ 18:32, 15 July 2024 (UTC)
- The article seems to suggest that Norra Wexley is the character identified as Gold Wing in Legends. The Gold Wing article doesn't confirm that the character appears in Return of the Jedi, whereas Wexley is shown to be in the film in canon. Based on that information alone, assuming the Gold Wing article isn't missing information about the character's presence in the film, if Wexley is indeed the film pilot, then it wouldn't be confirmed that she's tied to the Gold Wing character. Keep in mind that I'm relying solely on the Wook articles. I can't verify if Wexley is actually piloting the craft in the film, or if Gold Wing is possibly in the film but it's not reflected in the article. Hanzo Hasashi ( talk ) 18:57, 15 July 2024 (UTC)
Here is the link to the Cargo Bay page. --JMM (talk) 16:33, 4 December 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for providing that. It's unfortunate that those links are no longer working and that it's difficult to find specific information about toy releases from that era. Hanzo Hasashi ( talk ) 16:48, 4 December 2024 (UTC)
I was attempting to correct the LEGO set that Darth Malak is featured in. https://lego.com/en-us/product/r2-d2-75379 Elijah Palmer (talk) 19:59, 28 December 2024 (UTC)
- Hi, my apologies, it seems those edits were indeed correct. I'm surprised to see Malak included on the side of an R2-D2 LEGO set. Hanzo Hasashi ( talk ) 18:17, 29 December 2024 (UTC)
