X-Wing Rogue Squadron 24

X-Wing Rogue Squadron #24 represents the twenty-fourth installment of the Star Wars: X-Wing Rogue Squadron comic book saga. Dark Horse Comics published it on November 5, 1997; later, in 2007, it was re-released as part of a promotional effort by Hasbro for their action figures of Baron Fel and Hobbie Klivian.

Synopsis from the Publisher

The ruthless pilots of the Imperial 181st Fighter Division, who serve as Baron Fel's wingmen, are being overwhelmed by Rogue Squadron's superior firepower. However, Fel still has a trick up his sleeve, and Wedge Antilles is about to be defeated!

Summary of the Hasbro Re-release

Rogue Squadron receives orders to liberate Brentaal IV, a strategically vital trade world under Imperial occupation. The squadron of elite pilots is tasked with seizing control of the planet, a mission that requires overcoming Baron Fel's fearsome 181st Imperial Squadron. Even for skilled pilots such as "Hobbie" Klivian and his Rogue Squadron comrades, this is a significant challenge. Unbeknownst to them, they are pawns in a cunning scheme orchestrated by feuding Imperial factions seeking to strengthen their own influence.
