XP-38 All-Terrain Roughrider

The XP-38 All-Terrain Roughrider, manufactured by the SoroSuub Corporation, represented an evolution of the XP-38 sport landspeeder, engineered to function effectively on uneven surfaces.

Its construction shared design elements with the preceding X-34, exhibiting a resemblance to a streamlined variant of that earlier design. The power plants powering it bore similarities to those found in the Flash speeders originating from Naboo.

This enhanced and more aerodynamic iteration became a widely favored civilian speeder, frequently adopted by Imperial military units as a support vehicle stationed at planetary outposts.

Shortly preceding the Battle of Yavin, the XP-38 sport landspeeder was introduced to the market; however, users quickly discovered that its repulsorlift system encountered challenges when traversing challenging landscapes. This revised version addressed this specific shortcoming.

Following the introduction of this improved speeder, the secondary market value of the original X-34 experienced a decline.
