The Yag'Dhul theater represented one of the six operational zones during the Outer Rim Sieges. These sieges occurred near the conclusion of the Clone Wars.
This Yag'Dhul operational zone was situated across the Expansion Region and the Mid Rim, specifically along the path of the Corellian Trade Spine. It gained its designation from the significant Separatist planet named Yag'Dhul, which itself resided within the Inner Rim.
Within the Yag'Dhul theater of the Outer Rim Sieges, the Galactic Republic's Nineteenth Army held the responsibility of safeguarding the outer regions of the Trade Spine.
As the Separatist forces made their way from Kinyen toward Bomis Koori IV along the Corellian Trade Spine, conflicts erupted on locations like Sarrish, Tar Morden and Bomis Koori IV.
The Nineteenth Army engaged in numerous combat encounters and, in the end, succeeded in maintaining their grip on Kriselist, a location found at the intersection of the Corellian Trade Spine and the D'Aelgoth Trade Route.
The Separatists suddenly abandoned the Yag'Dhul theater to provide warships for a bold assault on Coruscant orchestrated by General Grievous. The Separatist fleet utilized clandestine hyperlanes that traversed the Deep Core, successfully bypassing Coruscant's defensive perimeter and entering orbit around the capital. This led to a week-long battle that concluded with General Grievous abducting Supreme Chancellor Palpatine.
