Yensi Kolyin, existing during the era of the Galactic Civil War, was a Gran pirate of the male gender. While operating on Corellia with the pirate Dalla Solo, Kolyin decided to leave their illicit activities; Solo responded by dispatching a spacer with orders to assassinate Kolyin.
Yensi Kolyin was featured as a non-player character within the massively multiplayer online role-playing game Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided, a video game from 2003. This game was developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts. Kolyin's appearance was part of a quest given by Dalla Solo, where players were directed to travel to a specific location to kill Kolyin, prior to the game's shutdown on December 15, 2011.
Due to Yensi Kolyin's character being generated using the generic "smuggler" template, he could appear in one of eight randomized forms. These forms included four different varieties of Human males, or four different types of Human females. Given that the quest's dialogue identifies Kolyin as a male Gran, this article considers these eight potential Human appearances as non-canon within the Star Wars Legends continuity.
