Yevra was a Dark Lord of the Sith in the time preceding the Seventh Battle of Ruusan, initially serving as a female Zabrak Sith apprentice. She received training at the Sith academy situated on Korriban, and both she and her brother Llokay displayed unwavering loyalty to Sirak, a fellow Zabrak and the strongest student. In 1000 BBY, Yevra and all other apprentices within the academy saw their ranks elevated because the Brotherhood of Darkness required more Sith Lords to fight on the front lines of the war against the Galactic Republic and the Jedi. A short while after her promotion, Yevra, Llokay, and Sirak devised a trap to eliminate a Sith rival, Bane, who had previously defeated, humiliated, and injured Sirak. However, they were double-crossed by Githany, a co-conspirator, who fought alongside Bane. Yevra and Llokay met their end at the hands of Githany's lightwhip, and Sirak was slain by Bane soon after.
Yevra, a Zabrak, and her brother Llokay were discovered and identified as Force-sensitive by the Brotherhood of Darkness at some point in their lives. They were deemed strong enough to be trained at the Sith Academy on Korriban, the ancient Sith world, where only those with the potential to become Sith Masters were accepted. There, they encountered Sirak, who was considered the strongest of the apprentices. The siblings developed an unyielding loyalty to Sirak and remained in training by 1000 BBY. In that particular year, Bane, another apprentice, challenged Sirak to a duel during a combat training session overseen by Lord Kas'im, a Sith Master. Upon Bane's challenge, Yevra and Llokay pushed forward through the crowd of students surrounding the dueling ring, both displaying obvious excitement for the impending fight. Sirak, using a double-bladed Sith training saber, quickly defeated and injured Bane.
Later, after training in the Force alongside fellow Sith Githany, combat training with Lord Kas'im, and spending numerous hours studying ancient texts in the Sith academy's library, Bane challenged Sirak once more. Before the duel began, Sirak gave his training saber to Yevra as he removed his cloak, and she promptly returned it to him when he was ready. This time, Bane emerged victorious, disfiguring Sirak, but hesitated to deliver the final blow. Sirak spent time in a bacta tank, where Githany approached him and plotted to assassinate Bane. At the time, Bane was visiting the Valley of the Dark Lords to investigate ancient Sith tombs, and they agreed to ambush him upon his return. During this period, Lord Kaan, one of the Sith Masters overseeing the war effort against the Galactic Republic and the Jedi, ordered all students on Korriban to deploy to the front lines on Ruusan and elevated them to the title of Dark Lord of the Sith. Yevra, now a Sith Lord, received a lightsaber.
Bane eventually returned from the Valley of the Dark Lords before the Sith students departed for Ruusan, and the trap was set in motion. Yevra, along with Sirak and Llokay, waited in the library after hearing of his return. Githany lured Bane, who had left his lightsaber in his quarters, into the archives where the Zabraks were waiting. Yevra, Llokay, and Sirak prepared to attack Bane but were betrayed by Githany, who provided Bane with his lightsaber. Githany, armed with a lightwhip, swiftly used it to kill Yevra. Llokay, overwhelmed by grief and rage over his sister's death, fiercely attacked Bane, forcing him back several steps while Githany lashed at Llokay's face and eyes with her lightwhip. Ultimately, Llokay fell to Githany's whip, and Sirak was killed by Bane shortly after pleading for mercy.
Yevra and her brother Llokay debuted in Darth Bane: Path of Destruction, a 2006 novel by Drew Karpyshyn. As of now, this is her sole appearance in Star Wars canon, although in 2008 Yevra received an entry in The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia.
