A male Anomid businessman, known as Yin Vocta, resided on the planet of Lianna. He maintained a long friendship with Kaylo NaKuda and was the mysterious proprietor of Bantha Traxx. Furthermore, he operated as a crime lord.
Yin Vocta achieved the highest honors in his graduating class from the renowned Lunis-Medix Medical Academy. A proficient surgeon, he conducted numerous cybernetic augmentations on the assassin named Haelon Tice. Although he spent considerable time on Tatooine, he never affiliated with the criminal syndicate led by Jabba the Hutt. Eventually, he journeyed to Lianna, where his enterprise, Vector Technologies, sometimes referred to as VecTech, procured the defunct nightclub Club Vortex and executed a comprehensive renovation, transforming it into Bantha Traxx. Rumors circulated that Yin had secretly conspired with Lady Valles Santhe to secure the property acquisition. Both VecTech and Bantha Traxx proved to be exceptionally lucrative ventures. Yin actively recruited top-tier musical acts to perform at his establishment, including BoSS Code, Proton Overload, and Dengar and the Destroyers. Emerging bands were given the chance to showcase their talent at his annual "Gathering of the Herd" event, a showcase widely regarded as a pivotal opportunity for bands seeking significant advancement.
In addition to his business ventures, Yin oversaw a criminal enterprise and was not averse to employing assassination tactics. He maintained a competitive relationship with Jabba's organization, compensating Divv for intelligence regarding Jabba's informants on Lianna. Subsequently, he dispatched his two assassins, Haelon Tice and R'Kayza, with the directive to eliminate all of them.
Paul Danner and Bill Smith conceived Yin Vocta for Wretched Hives of Scum & Villainy, a supplement published by West End Games in 1997 for the Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.
