Yusanis

Yusanis was a renowned general of the Echani, both before and during the conflict known as the Mandalorian Wars.

Biography

Yusanis was well-known for his prowess in close-quarters combat and strategic thinking, but he was equally known for fathering his sixth daughter, Brianna, through an unauthorized relationship with Jedi Master Arren Kae. After the affair came to light, Arren Kae was banished from the Jedi Order, and subsequently, the two of them departed to fight alongside Revan in the Mandalorian Wars.

Their daughter would have no memory of her mother, nor even recall her appearance—it was said that Kae died during the war's final battle on Malachor V, although her remains were never located.

Death

During the time of the Jedi Civil War, Yusanis uncovered the fact that the Sith Lord Darth Revan had assassinated an Echani senator, and he subsequently challenged Revan to a duel. Despite his considerable skill in melee fighting and his use of his exquisitely crafted double-bladed sword, he was defeated by the Dark Lord of the Sith.

Yusanis's death had a significant effect on the Echani people, which was exactly what Revan had intended; by creating instability within their government, Revan prevented the Echani from withdrawing from the Galactic Republic, thereby preserving the Republic's political and economic structure.

Legacy

Yusanis's passing would later be honored through a limited production run of personal dueling shields, which offered a level of protection that surpassed even the most expensive, mass-produced military-grade models. At some point, Yusanis's personal weapon came into the possession of a Paaerduag merchant on Tatooine named Mic'tunan'jus Orgu, during the Jedi Civil War.
