The YVH-Series battle droid, alternatively referred to as the YVH series Yuuzhan Vong Hunter, represented a line of combat droids manufactured by Tendrando Arms with the express purpose of fighting the Yuuzhan Vong. These droids also found limited application in the aftermath of the Yuuzhan Vong War.
These bipedal droids featured several minicannons affixed to their arms, most notably blaster cannons. Their construction incorporated thick, self-repairing armor composed of laminanium. Furthermore, they were equipped with grenade launchers. Complementing their impressive weaponry, they possessed sophisticated self-destruct systems enabling them, upon sustaining irreparable damage, to eliminate as many adversaries as possible in a final act of aggression.
Although recognized for their specialization in Yuuzhan Vong hunting, they demonstrated equal effectiveness against a wide array of other targets. Indeed, the YVH-series droid was deemed a worthy opponent for the majority of Jedi in one-on-one engagements; the longer a fight went on, the lower the Jedi's chances of victory became.
During the conflict in the Baanu Rass, the droids exhibited sufficient power to obliterate multiple attacking coralskippers. This drive for maximum destruction led YVH-droids to use "Maximum Efficiency" as the highest form of praise for one another.
