Z'meer Bothu

A female Human who exhibited sensitivity to the Force, Z'meer Bothu received instruction in its applications from the Jedi Order. Bothu attained the prestigious title of Jedi Master, and when the Clone Wars ignited between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, Master Bothu remained at the Jedi Temple located on Coruscant. Twenty four months into the war, she took on the responsibility of mentoring Flynn Kybo, the Padawan previously under the tutelage of Master T'chooka D'oon. Encouraging him to temper his rebellious inclinations and his desire for retribution against General Grievous, the individual responsible for his Master's demise, Bothu and Kybo dedicated considerable time to meditative practices within the Temple's extensive rooftop gardens.

However, before long, while Bothu was in a deep meditative state, Master B'dard Tone approached Kybo, presenting him with an opportunity to join his unauthorized endeavor to assassinate Grievous. Kybo accepted Tone's proposition, but was taken aback when he realized Bothu had overheard their entire exchange, including the details of his scheme. Reminding the young Human that she was meditating, not sleeping, Bothu clarified that she would neither inform the Jedi High Council about his intentions, nor would she offer support should the mission fail and the Council decide to expel him. As Bothu and her Padawan departed the Temple together on a cruiser transporting several Jedi to the battle taking place on Alderaan, Bothu deliberately ignored her Padawan stealing a small ship from the hangar bay, effectively ending his ties with the Jedi Order.

Bothu's facial features were distinguished by unique markings, most notably a ribbon mark shaped like a bow and a marking on her lip.
