Zakul held the title of King of Endor and was also a Sanyassan Marauder.
Following the death of King Terak in 3 ABY, General Yavid attempted to seize the Marauder throne and become the next King. However, he couldn't replicate Terak's success in maintaining control over the unruly group, leading to infighting among the Marauders. Ultimately, Zakul prevailed in this conflict, restored order, and ascended to the position of King.
However, when the New Republic dispatched agents to explore the forests of Endor at a later time, they discovered no evidence of the Sanyassan Marauders.
