Zallo Blaak, a male human drifter, journeyed to Jedha City just before Reflection Day. His father sent him in hopes that viewing the Kyber Mirrors located in the Dome of Deliverance might give Blaak some direction in life. Blaak, on a transport filled with pilgrims, made his way to the moon of Jedha, where he encountered Kasmira, a Pantoran scholar.
After arriving in the city, he found himself caught in a parade. Kasmira saved him from being trampled by a spamel. He expressed his gratitude, and they separated. Later, he observed her struggling to pay for food, having lost her credits, and offered to pay for her. They shared a meal and again went their separate ways, only to meet for a fourth time inside the Dome of Deliverance on Reflection Day after Blaak spotted Kasmira's reflection in the Kyber Mirrors. Subsequently, they decided to explore the city together.
The short story "Reflection Day" featured Zallo Blaak. It was illustrated by Grant Griffin and included in Life Day Treasury, a collection of short stories from 2021 penned by Cavan Scott and George Mann.
