Professor Zanier Hudmasse was a scientist specializing in both droid engineering and the field of science, identified as a male Human, who was active during the era of the Galactic Civil War.
Professor Hudmasse, Zanier, made his home on Naboo and held the position of Research Head at Stonewall Labs until Professor Cordelis shut the company down around the time of the Battle of Yavin. In 1 ABY, he encountered a space traveler attempting to obtain a droid module originating from the Old Republic from Stonewall Labs. Hudmasse consented to assist and directed the spacer to acquire a Stonewall Labs security beacon from Vance Groten, the former Chief Security Officer. Subsequently, he instructed the spacer to procure a sequencer, suitable for use in a Stonewall Labs security beacon, from ex-technician Tanoa Vills. Eventually, Professor Hudmasse integrated the sequencer into the security beacon. Utilizing this device, the spacer successfully gained entry into the Stonewall Labs headquarters and retrieved a Strategy/Tactics Simulation Chip that had been installed within a droideka being examined in the lab.
Zanier Hudmasse made an appearance as a non-player character within the 2003 video game titled Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game which was under development by Sony Online Entertainment and distributed by LucasArts, before its termination on December 15, 2011. Zanier Hudmasse's inclusion in the game was part of the "Legacy Quest" that came with the "Publish 25," also known as the "New Game Enhancements," release on November 15, 2005.
