Zeldin was a Nightsister of Dathomir descent, identified as female. The stories say that Zeldin was selected for a mission using Nightsister magick: to enter the thoughts of the Sith Lord known as Darth Caldoth. Caldoth had taken a pod holding the dead body of a Nightsister, removing it from Dathomir. Zeldin's goal was to influence Caldoth, driving him to a vengeful act of self-destruction; however, Caldoth sensed Zeldin's intrusion, taking advantage of their mental link and ultimately imprisoning her awareness inside his own mind.
