The so-called Zorbian space pirates, hailing from the planet Zorbia II, consisted of a rather chaotic band of Human pirates. Thought to have Corellian heritage, they had been a persistent source of trouble within the Moddell sector for a very long time.
A particular faction, under the command of Captain Krag, set out on a mission to plunder the Bright Tree Village with the intent of stealing the precious gemwood tree. Armed with axes and bolo-slings, they managed to seize a large number of the village's adult male warriors and came dangerously close to acquiring the coveted gemwood tree. However, their plans were ultimately foiled by the efforts of Princess Kneesaa, along with the courageous women and children of the village.
