Zyle Keem
Zyle Keem, a pirate from the High Republic Era, identified as non-binary and belonged to the Zabrak species. They were the grandchild of the pirate Saya Keem.
Behind the scenes
For the Star Wars: The High Republic project, Zyle Keem was brought to life. Alyssa Wong and Daniel José Older, who penned the junior novel The High Republic: Escape from Valo, unveiled the character in a StarWars.com article on January 23, 2024. Zyle's debut, both in story and visual form, occurred in this novel, which was released on January 30 of that year as a component of Phase III of the multimedia initiative.
