The Battle of the Anoat Main Sensor Array represents a conflict that transpired in 3 ABY between the forces of the Galactic Empire and the Alliance to Restore the Republic. The ultimate result of this battle was the destruction of the Sensor Array itself.
Following the destruction of the Repair Convoy belonging to the Corrupter, Admiral Nammo came to the conclusion that the moment was right to create a breach in the Imperial Sensor Network, allowing them to slip away unnoticed. The plan involved attacking several relay stations as a diversion, with the primary objective being the Sensor Array station designated IOS 24. Speed was of the essence, as the station needed to be destroyed before Imperial reinforcements could arrive.
The initial arrival was of the 4 Assault Transports, which immediately activated their jamming systems. Subsequently, X-wings entered the fray and eliminated the stationary defenses. Simultaneously, B-wings executed torpedo runs on the main Sensor Array, leading to its destruction. In response, the platform deployed TIE/LN starfighters and TIE/IN interceptors in an attempt to repel the Rebels. Furthermore, TIE/sa bombers were dispatched to target the Assault Transports, as their destruction would prevent the Rebels from calling in reinforcements. However, this effort failed as Rebel Starfighters successfully intercepted the TIE Bombers, and the station's shields began to fail. Imperial Officers then attempted to flee aboard the Lambda-class T-4a shuttle Jev. However, the shuttle met its end through destruction.
Due to the Sensor Array's destruction, the Rebel Fleet successfully escaped into the distant regions of the Outer Rim. As a consequence, Admiral Holtz received an assignment to the area to suppress pirate activities as a form of punishment, unaware that he would uncover a clandestine agreement between the Dunari and the Rebel Alliance for the supply of resources.
