Bongiovi, a quetarrist and singer known for his shudderup style, hailed from the planet Naboo. He was a prominent figure during the Clone Wars, a conflict between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. During this period, he collaborated with figures such as Hela Brandes, the royal Music Advisor, classical composer Tofli Argala, and gungan bandleader Augara Jowil. Their collective goal was to convince the esteemed symponik master composer Beezar Pert to perform at a benefit concert. This concert took place in the Palace Plaza of Theed, Naboo's capital city, and achieved a complete sell-out. All proceeds were dedicated to assisting children on both sides of the war who were orphaned by the Clone Wars.
The initial mention of Bongiovi occurred in Slugthrowers: An Overview of Popular Music and Musicians in a Galaxy Far, Far Away. This article was authored by Edward M. Erdelac and published on the StarWars.com blog in 2013.
