Boonta Blaster

The Boonta Blaster, a Huttese firearm, derived its moniker from the notorious and worshipped Hutt believed to have ordered the original version: Boonta Hestilic Shad'ruu. These weapons, adorned with jewels, carried a price tag of 1,000 credits and were frequently personalized as decorative scepters for a particular Hutt or passed down through generations as family treasures.

The blaster mechanisms were hidden under substantial quantities of jewels and other precious metals, with the energy discharge originating from a large gemstone. Hutts utilized the Boonta Blaster as a final defensive measure if their bodyguards failed, although it was more commonly employed to kill individuals who had angered them.
