Brub berry sauce

Brub berry sauce was a fruity compote made with the brub berries of the Forest Moon of Endor's brub-brub bush. At some point after publishing his first cookbook in 34 ABY, Artiodac chef Strono Tuggs included a recipe for the sauce in his second cookbook, The Life Day Cookbook.

Tuggs described the compote's flavor as both sweet and tart and considered it a special sauce, for it could stand out on its own without complementing a dish. Despite that, he did recommend pairing it with main courses such as Engine Roasted Tip-Yip or Glazed Kod'yok, warning that there was a chance that the reader might just eat a bowl of the brub berry sauce on its own.

Brub berry sauce was introduced in the 2021 recipe book Star Wars: The Life Day Cookbook, authored by Jenn Fujikawa and Marc Sumerak. The out-of-universe recipe for the sauce calls for blueberries, brown sugar, orange juice, maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and cloves.
