Glazed Kod'yok was a festive holiday entree. It was prepared using a large cut of meat from the kod'yok creatures, which are native to the planet of Vandor. The meat was then traditionally coated in a glaze made from wroshyr sap syrup. In 34 ABY, Artiodac chef Strono Tuggs released his first cookbook. Within his holiday-themed cookbook, The Life Day Cookbook, he provided a recipe for Glazed Kod'yok, noting that kod'yoks had been extensively hunted on Vandor. This made their meat rare and therefore well-suited for holiday celebrations. Tuggs also suggested that brub berry sauce would be a good addition to the dish as a topping.
The recipe for Glazed Kod'Yok first appeared in the 2021 cookbook titled Star Wars: The Life Day Cookbook, which was written by Marc Sumerak and Jenn Fujikawa. The out-of-universe recipe for the dish calls for ingredients like ham, brown sugar, maple syrup, pineapple juice, Dijon mustard, cinnamon, black pepper, and nutmeg.
