Burial pods were pods in which Nightsisters were buried. The pods were hung on Grave Thorns.
Burial pods could be made of cloth or animal skins, which was mainly rancor hide. When the Chant of Resurrection was completed, Nightsister Zombies crawled out of the pods.
During Nightsister funerary rites, cloth was washed in magickal water. Then the cloth was hand-braided together while reciting a spell of protection. Finally, the bodies were cleansed with fragrant oils.
