The Church of the Ganthic Enlightenment was a religious organization that was active during the reign of the Galactic Empire. Eeth Koth, a former Jedi Master, served as a priest in the church, and as such officiated weddings and funerals, and stated to bring people peace. Eventually, however, Darth Vader, Sith apprentice to Emperor Darth Sidious, discovered Koth and killed him in a lightsaber duel.
