Clan Lok

During the Eternal Empire conquest on the galaxy, Clan Lok met them head on and fought against the invaders. However, they were hit hard by the Eternal Empire and Mandalore the Vindicated fell in battle, killed by swarms of skytroopers. The Clan scattered soon after, and a stigma against droids formed due to Mandalore's death. Eventually, the new Mandalore, Mandalore the Avenger, planned to assault the Eternal Empire's factory on Darvannis to help rearm themselves, but Mirli Lok disagreed with her plan, viewing it as dishonorable to wage war against mere droids and preferring to fight Zakuul directly. Mirli convinced others to break off from Vizla's leadership, forming the Ash'ad. They would then go to Onderon in order to hunt the dangerous beasts of the world in pursuit of honor and glory, but they were slain by the Alliance Commander on Mandalore's orders. The remnants of the Ash'ad, under the leadership of Durn Wynnward, integrated into the splinter faction known as the Hidden Chain.

Clan Lok first appeared in Star Wars canon, albeit unnamed, in the massively-multiplayer online game Star Wars: The Old Republic, created by BioWare and released December 20, 2011. The tie-in reference book, Star Wars: The Old Republic Encyclopedia, identified the Mandalorian clan as "Lok."
