These medallions provided authorization to travel freely throughout all regions under First Order control. The medallions transmitted an encoded subspace signal, which permitted passage through First Order blockades designed to prevent unauthorized travel. Zorii Bliss possessed such a medallion and initially intended to utilize it for her own departure to the Colonies. However, she ultimately chose to entrust it to Poe Dameron on the planet Kijimi so he could rescue Chewbacca, who was being held captive by the First Order.
