The Gulper was a circular type of rolling droid with two arms and black and blue plating. A Gulper guarded the Abominor Great Heep's mining operation on the planet Biitu in 15 BBY. After the protocol droid C-3PO escaped one of the operation's mines, a Gulper pursued the droid. C-3PO alerted the merchant Mungo Baobab that the Gulper was approaching their location, prompting Baobab to shoot water at the Gulper, which then rolled back into the mine.
