Hadrian was a gas miner who worked at the gas mining operations center in Cloud City, a mining complex in the atmosphere of the planet Bespin. They were a colleague of fellow Bespinite and gas miner Willrow Hood, who, in 3 ABY, decided to show up late for work, hoping Hadrian would be able to make up for his absence at his console for a few minutes.
That same day, when Hood learned that the Galactic Empire had arrived on Cloud City and thus started planning to escape, he considered telling Hadrian that he had a stomach illness to excuse his absence. However, Hood decided against it once he realized he would not be coming back to the city.
