During the New Republic's successful admission of Adumar and the subsequent defense of the world from an Imperial invasion fleet, High Flight Beta Squadron served under General Wedge Antilles, this time protecting Remember Derra and Solar Wind Squadrons as well as the Adumari Blade units while they attacked the Imperial Star Destroyer Agonizer. High Flight Three Beta reported the arrival of the Imperial forces as the Battle of Adumar started. They were stationed aboard the Allegiance.
High Flight Beta Squadron used for reconnaissance and date collection. The unit's insignia featured a single T-65 X-wing starfighter, the squadron's craft of choice, flying above a mountain peak.
High Flight Beta Squadron appears in Aaron Allston's novel X-Wing: Starfighters of Adumar. They also have an entry in the 2008 reference book The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia.
