Planore, back in 3951 BBY, proposed to the Human named Kahranna and her relatives that he could organize transport away from the moon of Nar Shaddaa. He requested fifty credits from Kahranna as a fee to connect her with his pilot acquaintance, who, according to him, would provide off-world passage for the family at a cost of 500 credits. Despite this, Planore did not follow through on his pledge to assist.
Kahranna was then obligated to depend on Meetra Surik, the Jedi Exile and one-time Jedi Knight, for aid. After listening to the Human's narrative, Surik suggested the possibility that Planore had defrauded her, a sentiment Kahranna shared, admitting she shouldn't have placed her trust in him.
The character of Planore was referenced within Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, the video game from 2004 created by Obsidian Entertainment.
