The Rokwahl Asteroid Belt was located in the Lazerian system, occupying its eighth orbital position. The asteroid belt was located within the Kira sector, in the Trailing Sectors portion of the Expansion Region. Rokwahl orbited the yellow star known as Lazerian and was found along the trade routes known as the Harrin Trade Corridor and Kira Run.
At some point, Rokwahl, alongside the rest of the system, was surveyed by the Lazerians of the planet Lazerian IV. Some of the asteroids were used for mining purposes, and a series of transponder buoys were positioned in the belt to allow starship traffic to pass through unharmed. A warning to spacefarers informed them of the buoys and stated that tampering with them was a capital offense.
The Rokwahl Asteroid Belt was created by John Terra and introduced in Twin Stars of Kira, a 1993 supplement to West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game. The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Lazerian system, and therefore the Rokwahl Asteroid Belt, in grid square N-15.
