The Savage Star fighter was a model of starfighter that was used by the Jedi Starfighter Corps in the years following the New Sith Wars. The Jedi ace Crix Sunburris considered the Savage Star to be favored by members of the Corps over the Kuat Redshift, a fighter used during the conflict with the Sith. Savage Stars were fitted with twin laser cannons, an external hyperdrive sled and a Chempat deflector shield.
