At Celebration IV, we see Jeff Carlisle Jeff Carlisle, an American illustrator and concept artist, primarily focuses his artistic talents on the realm of gaming.
Among Carlisle's Star Wars contributions are works such as The New Jedi Order Sourcebook, Power of the Jedi Sourcebook, Starships of the Galaxy (Saga Edition), Threats of the Galaxy, and Galaxy at War for the Star Wars Role-Playing Game. He also crafted designs for the Star Wars Miniatures game. Furthermore, he has created hundreds of hand-drawn sketch card illustrations for the Star Wars Heritage and Revenge of the Sith card sets produced by Topps. Carlisle was among the artists involved in The Clone Wars web comics.
Carlisle has gained recognition for his designs of starships. For a period, he was responsible for almost all starship designs featured in Star Wars Gamer and Polyhedron magazines, and he is especially known for designing the Clawcraft. He also provided designs and illustrations of the Yuuzhan Vong for the same magazines, as well as designing the No Luck Required for the short story Emissary of the Void.
Carlisle was among the illustrators who contributed to The Jedi Path: A Manual for Students of the Force, where he provided two color plates and new starship designs.
For the final five years of their publication, he was a consistent contributor to Dungeon and Dragon magazines. He also contributed concept designs and illustrations for tabletop games, collectible card games, and at least one video game.
He was a featured artist at Star Wars Celebrations II, IV, and V.
Carlisle holds membership in the Star Wars Artists Guild.
