Stromma Council Liaison was a title held by individuals who spoke for the Stromma council, the government of the Stromma species. In 8 ABY, the Stromma Nyama held the title, serving as a liaison between the Stromma council and the Empire of the Hand, a government in Wild Space. Nyama attended a strategy conference aboard the Imperial I-class Star Destroyer Admonitor, where he learned how Grand Admiral Thrawn, the leader of the Empire of the Hand, planned to attack the forces of Storm-hair Warlord Nuso Esva on the Unknown Regions planet Quethold. As Stromma Council Liaison, he remarked that the Stromma council would not waste its troops in an attack the liaison considered "mad," withdrawing all Stromma from the Empire of the Hand's service.
