Stromma council

The governing body of the Stromma species, who were allied with the Quesoth people, was known as the Stromma council. Around the year 8 ABY, Storm-hair Warlord Nuso Esva launched an attack on their worlds with his military force. However, Grand Admiral Thrawn of the Empire of the Hand successfully liberated them.

Description

The government of the Stromma species was the Stromma council. The council's authority extended to several planets, notably Oristrom, the Stromma homeworld situated in the Unknown Regions. Representatives known as Stromma council liaisons served as spokespersons for the government.

History

Grand Admiral Thrawn helped the Stromma council in its conflict with Nuso Esva.

In 8 ABY, Nuso Esva, the Storm-hair Warlord, initiated an attack on the Stromma council's planets, including Oristrom. During a battle on Oristrom, the Stromma initially held an advantage against Esva's troops until the warlord personally returned to Oristrom and took command of his forces. Nevertheless, Thrawn, the Grand Admiral of the Empire of the Hand, successfully drove the Storm-hair away from the Stromma homeworld after studying some art. Despite the Empire's assistance in their conflict with Esva, certain members of the Stromma council held the Empire of the Hand responsible for the destruction their planets had endured. Conversely, some Stromma became stormtroopers within the Imperial Stromma contingent of the Empire of the Hand.

In 8 ABY, the council dispatched Nyama, a Stromma Council Liaison, along with his conciliator, to the Imperial I-class Star Destroyer Admonitor to discuss a planned attack against Esva, who was in hiding on Quethold, an Unknown Regions planet that served as the homeworld of the Quesoth species. Following Thrawn's announcement of his intention to deploy his stormtroopers to defeat Esva's Quesoth Soldiers, Nyama withdrew all Stromma from Imperial service. He expressed the belief that the Quesoth were invincible against stormtroopers and that the Stromma stormtroopers would die needlessly. The liaison stated that the Stromma council refused to risk their warriors in Thrawn's "mad attack."

Behind the scenes
