The Triellus Trade Route was a hyperspace route running between the astronomical objects Centares and Enarc, touching a number of regions including Mid Rim Territories, Outer Rim Territories, Wild Space, the Slice, and the Trailing Sectors. It intersected with a number of other routes including the Perlemian Trade Route at Centares, the Corellian Run at the planet Arkanis, the Salin Corridor at the planet Sy Myrth, the Llanic Spice Run at the planet Llanic and more.
The Hutt Clan controlled the Triellus Trade Route by the time of the Clone Wars, which cause problems for the Separatist Alliance when they sided with the Galactic Republic. The route was also used as part of the Spice Triangle, a trade network controlled by the Pyke Syndicate and ran between the worlds Tatooine and Ryloth and the astronomical body Roon. The smuggler Tryphon Leo wanted to lock the triangle down and toll the Triellus Trade Route's lucrative segments, but was killed before he could make any of his plans possible.
The Triellus Trade Route was a circuitous hyperspace route which ran between the astronomical objects Centares and Enarc. The route passed from the Mid Rim Territories to the Outer Rim Territories and Wild Space before passing back into the Outer Rim and Mid Rim. It also passed between the regions known as the Slice and the Trailing Sectors. The Triellus Trade Route passed through a number of sectors, including the Bheriz sector, Baxel sector, Galov sector, Arkanis sector, and the Savareen sector.
From Centares in the Mid Rim, the Triellus Trade Route made its way to the the Siniteen homeworld of Mileva before passing into the Outer Rim. The route then passed to the planets Sy Myrth, Naraka, and Jabiim as well as the astronomical objects Taskeed and Dennogra. After, it reached the Yarma system—which included the planet Yarma—and the planet Marleyvane before making it to Junkfort Station and the planets Qhulosk, Alamass, and Kubindi, the latter world being in the Ku'Bakai system.
The Triellus Trade Route then went to the astronomical objects Drualkiin and Formos and the planet Eadu in the Eadu system before reaching the edge of Wild Space at Aduba. The route touched with Wild Space after to the planet Teth in the Teth system before reaching the planet Barab I, the celestial body Dubrava, and the moon of Syvris. The Triellus Trade Route followed by going to the planets Gamorr and Kaddak, the latter located in the Kaddak system, as well as the astronomical objects Arvina, Molavar, and Roon.
The Triellus Trade Route made its way to the gas giant where the Cosmatanic Steppes were found and then to the Tatoo system, containing the planet Tatooine, and the Geonosis system, with the planet Geonosis. The route then went on to the planets Arkanis, Yerbana, Nelvaan, and Llanic, covering the Arkanis and Llanic systems. The route entered the Mid Rim again after that and reached the astronomical objects Zhar, Farstine, Tovash Tchii, and Enarc.
The Triellus Trade Route crossed paths with a number of other hyperspace routes on its journey. At Centares, it intersected the Perlemian Trade Route, a super-hyperroute reaching to the Core Worlds. The route also intersected the Salin Corridor at Sy Myrth, the Pabol Sleheyron at Formos, and the Manda Merchant Run at Molavar. The Triellus Trade Route then had junctions with the Cloak of the Sith at Roon, the Mumble's Turnaround at Tatooine, and the Crystal Passage at Geonosis. At Arkanis, it crossed the Corellian Run, another super-hyperroute which stretched to the Core Worlds. Llanic saw the route intersect with the Llanic Spice Run.
By the time of the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and Separatist Alliance, the Hutt Clan controlled the Triellus Trade Route. When the Hutts allied with the Republic during the wars, the Separatists was unable to use the route to connect its and territories, leaving them especially vulnerable to siege. At some point by the time of the Galactic Empire, a trade network known as the Spice Triangle was formed, made up of Tatooine, Roon, and the planet Ryloth and controlled by the Pyke Syndicate as they began challenging Hutt territory. Linking the three worlds was the Triellus Trade Route, the Cloak of the Sith and the Corellian Run. The Triellus Trade Route notably made up the journey between Roon and Tatooine in the triangle.
Sometime by 10 BBY, the Volpai smuggler Tryphon Leo stole a book from the former pirate Queen Maz Kanata, later known as the Smuggler's Guide, which contained trade routes, shadowports, criminal contacts and the location of her hidden treasure caches. With the book's information, Leo planned to loot one of the caches and set up a trade network with its wealth, which involved him locking down trade throughout the Spice Triangle. The planned lockdown involved tolls along the lucrative segments of the Triellus Trade Route, Leo believing a fleet of starships and the bribing of powerful players in the area would allow him to make his changes. However, the smuggler's plans were stopped when he was crushed by a boulder trying to reach the first cache.
The Triellus Trade Route first appeared in the 2015 novel Heir to the Jedi, written by Kevin Hearne.
